Hesperia highlight
High desert community in the Victor Valley
Hesperia is a high desert city in San Bernardino County's Victor Valley, home to approximately 100,000 residents and surrounded by the Mojave Desert.

Hesperia sits in the Victor Valley at an elevation of 3,347 feet in San Bernardino County, about 35 miles north of downtown San Bernardino. The city incorporated on July 1, 1988, though the site has a longer history: the town was laid out in 1891 by railroad company land developers, and the area was originally home to the Serrano people before Spanish settlement in the 18th century. Today the city spans 72.78 square miles and is surrounded by the Mojave Desert, making it part of California's High Desert region.
The Victor Valley itself is a defined geographic and economic area within the Inland Empire, encompassing four incorporated cities with a combined population of more than 360,000 people. Hesperia ranks among the largest in the valley and has become a hub for families seeking affordable housing in the desert climate. The valley's economy historically centered on railroads and agriculture, but has evolved to serve regional and commuter populations, with residents working both locally and in the broader Inland Empire.
Living in a growing desert community means many families are in the accumulation years: establishing mortgages, working through their peak earning years, and raising children. A term life policy that covers the mortgage balance and provides income replacement for these specific years aligns directly with the timeline these families face.
